I’m getting evicted by the end of the year.
I have until then to make my SaaS work.
Subscribe to see the journey. Let me cook.
What this is
I’m Benjamin. Call me BLG.
I spent the last year building a SaaS. The product is ready. The marketing site is ready. Everything is ready. What is left is the only part that decides whether any of it counts: getting people to actually use it.
So this is me doing that in public, week by week. What I try, what works, what doesn’t, and what it costs.
How I got here
I started as a freelance web designer, mostly Webflow, three years full time. Then I moved to building products.
I still run a small ecommerce business on the side. That one taught me the thing I keep coming back to. I wasn’t selling my hours any more, I was building a machine that kept working while I didn’t. Freelance pays you for your time. A machine pays you for what you built.
Then AI arrived, and Claude Code with it, and I stopped hedging. Months of thinking and building later, there is a product.
Distribution is the new moat
Anyone can build now. That is the whole point of what just happened. Which means building is no longer the hard part, and attention is.
I don’t think this is luck. I think it is intensity and volume. And I would rather learn it by doing it where you can watch than read about it for another year.
What you get
One post a week, the same shape every time.
Create: what I shipped, what worked, what didn’t.
Explore: what I read and watched that was worth the time.
Level up: the one lesson I would want back if I lost it.
Mood: what I had playing while doing it.
Your turn
Reply to any email. What are you building, and why? I would like to know who is reading.
